In order to support and assist taxpayers in complying with their tax, customs and foreign exchange obligations when registering their Single Tax Registry (RUT), the National Tax and Customs Authority (DIAN) will send them a welcome letter that also includes answers to some of the most frequently asked questions when meeting their obligations.

Additionally, the agency is announcing the QR code feature included on Single Tax Registry (RUT) forms, which allows all citizens to check the status of this document by scanning the code in a single step.
